For researchers and universities.
We are looking for research groups to design experiments with, in our active research areas and in new ones: plant scientists, engineers working on life support or controlled environments, and students looking for a thesis project. You bring the questions and the expertise; we provide the space, the control and the data infrastructure.

Space
Indoor and greenhouse space where an experiment can run for its full length, currently set up for hydroponic growing in VDX Habitat.
Environmental control
Control of light, temperature, humidity and nutrient solution, so treatments can be compared under conditions that are recorded, not assumed.
Data platform
Sensors and manual measurements logged on VDX Core, with the time series available to every partner during and after the experiment.
Protocols are agreed before an experiment starts, and data is published openly when it ends. Authorship and the use of results are agreed with each group in writing.
